You have to know what your strength and weakness are.

You have to know what you are good at and not good at doing.

Knowing yourself is the first step to improve your quality of life.

There is a term called SWOT analysis. You can use it to assess yourself and to know yourself.

SWOT stands for Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threats.

STRENGTH

Strengths are the things you are good at doing. They are the things you do best.

List them on a sheet of paper.

WEAKNESS

Weaknesses are the things you are not good at doing. They are things you fall short.

List down all your weaknesses on a sheet of paper.

OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities are the things you can do better. They are things you don’t do well, but you can be better at it with time and hard work.

Make a list of your opportunities.

THREATS

Threats are the things that can harm your future or your life. Make a list of those things.

Assess yourself this way, and you would get to know yourself better.

You would know how to live to improve your quality of life.

A human mind is a powerful tool. It is a tool when used effectively and efficiently, has a long term impact on our lives. 

Most people are concern about what goes down the neck, neglecting the fact that everything starts from the mind.

The human mind is like farmland. When you plant tomatoes, it won’t produce garden eggs.

When you fill your mind with negative thoughts, you produce negative results. Positive thoughts, on the other hand, produce positive results.

THE NLP TERM

Anthony Robbins, in his book Unlimited Power, used a scientific term called NLP, which stands for Neuro-Linguistics Programming.

From his analysis, Neuro referred to the mind, Linguistic referred to as Language, and Programming referred to the installation of a plan or procedure.

From his book (Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins), NLP is the study of how language, both verbal and nonverbal, affects our nervous system.

He stated, “Our ability to do anything in life is based upon our ability to direct our nervous system.”

How we think and our self-communication have an impact on our lives.

Positive self-talk and positive thinking produce the activating energy the body needs to produce the desired results.

Most people who have achieved success or outstanding results in life was able to do so by giving a specific communication to and through their mind.

It means not lingering on the past nor being anxious about the future.

Many people worry about life, allowing their mind to linger on the past, anxious about the future. They forget to live in the now, to enjoy the present moment.

You grow, mature, develop, and gain more knowledge when you learn.

The world is evolving, things are changing fast, and technology is advancing. What worked a few years ago may not work today.

Learn to keep yourself updated. Keep yourself updated with new ideas, machines, and technologies in your field of work.

You can find information on Google search, video tutorials, blogs, and many more.

To improve your quality of life, achieve success, achieve what you want in life, and to live your dream life, you have to fight the enemy, FEAR.

The enemy is fear. We think it is hate; but it is fear.

You will tell yourself you can’t. You will doubt yourself.

Bad habits affect our lives. It prevents us from reaching the peak of our life achievements. It can make some goals unattained and some passions undiscovered.

Break bad habits like;

#1 ALCOHOLISM AND DRUGS

Avoid much intake of alcohol, and if possible, don’t start drinking at all. Also, avoid the use of drugs.

Alcoholism and drugs can cause severe health problems. They can cause damages to some vital organs and also in the circulatory system, nervous system, and digestive system.

To improve your quality of life, you have to let your health be your top priority.

Say no to drugs and alcohol.

Don’t spend more than your income. Avoid impulse buying and always differentiate between your wants and needs.

Take good care of your health. A healthy life contributes to a successful life.

Practice the following healthy habits to improve your quality of life.
